Belvia is survived by five sons, Hershel Akers of Prestonsburg, KY, Johnie Music of Stockbridge, MI, George Akers of Wabash, IN, Amos Music of Salyersville, KY, and David Gene Music of Ypsilanti, MI, three daughters, Sandra Taylor of Wabash, IN, Carol Jean Akers of Prestonsburg, KY, and Mary Wireman of Prestonsburg, KY, ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Thomas Music, one daughter, Rowena Akers, two brothers, Logan and Charlie Akers, and four sisters, Ethel, Virginia, Irene, and Sarah.
Funeral services for Belvia M. Howell will be held Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Jimmy Caudill officiating. Burial will follow in the Akers and Music Cemetery, Bonanza, KY. Visitation will be held after 12:00 noon Sunday at the funeral home.
