Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Rita "Maureen" Rosenberger, 85, of St. Cloud will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 30, 2012 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud. Maureen passed away on July 26, 2012 at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by her family. Rev. Matthew Crane will officiate. Burial will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, Little Falls.
Maureen was born on April 18, 1927 in Wild Rose, North Dakota to the late Clarence and Marguerite (Gauche) Lund. She married Richard C. Rosenberger on February 16, 1950 at St. Mary's Cathedral. In addition to raising her family, Maureen worked at her brother's business "Lund's Farmers Seed and Nursery" for many years. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and a past member of Holy Spirit Parish.
Maureen treasured her family "her jewels" and will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
Maureen is survived by her children, Michelle Hofstater-Rosenberger (David), Nancy Rosenberger, Norma Jeanne Huff (Clifford), Carl "Rick", Philip (Shawn), Mary Beth Blenkush (Mark) all of St. Cloud, Susan Lee Wilson (William) of Menomonie, WI; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sister, Muriel Henry of St. Cloud; brother, Raymond Lund Sr. (Joy) of St. Cloud; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard in 1998; brothers, Neil, Giles and Gerald; and sister, Peggy Lund.
