Son of Orrin D Kemp and Lizzie E (Clemons) Kemp. Orrin and Lizzie were married at Heath,MA on Mar 21,1876.

He married Emma Lively on Mar 5,1913. She was born on Apr 4,1884. She died in Sept 1982.

Children: Marian Kemp Tower, Earl R Kemp, Eleanor Rose Kemp White, Reginald F Kemp, Sybil Kemp Stafford, Maurice W Kemp, Mildred Kemp Jackson, and Rachael Kemp Hartwell.

Earl Clemons Kemp, 92, of 17A Elm Ter., died Friday [Jan.16th] in a local nursing home. Born in Colrain where he lived most of his life, he was a self-employed farmer and a teamster for the I.R.Myers Farm and lived here 15 years. He leaves his wife, the former Emma Lively; three sons, Earl R. of Arcadia, Fla., Reginald F. of Agawam, and Maurice W. of Nelsonville, N.Y.; four daughters, Marian Tower of Monroe, Sybil Stafford of Northfield, Mildred Jackson of Shelburne Falls and Rachel Hartwell of Bernardston; a brother, Ellsworth of Colrain; 31 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild. The funeral will be Sunday afternoon at McCarthy Funeral Home with burial in Branch Cemetery, Colrain.
