Daughter of William Henry Johnson Sr. and his first wife, Elizabeth Losea. Her parents were married on 5 Oct 1828 in South Hempstead, Nassau County, New York.

Her mother's 1886 estate papers in Kings County, NY show petitioner Eliza A. Johnson as a daughter. Also, other children named are James A. Peebles residing in Brooklyn, NY and Sarah W. Davis [123763229), widow of Charles W. Davis (123636862), residing in Fordham, NY. Sarah and Charles are interred in lot 24709.
