Born April 24, 1910 in Crossett, Ark., he lived in California for 56 years and was a self-employed mechanic and jack-of-all-trades for 40 years.
Mr. Sanders is survived by his wife, Esther E. Sanders of Vista and their two daughters, Kay and Terry. He is also survived by five children from a previous marriage; Charles Sanders of Topeka, Kan., Donald Sanders of Beaumont, Connie Crawford of Beaumont, Larry Sanders of Adelanto and Bobby Sanders of San Diego. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, Sept 23 at Allen Brothers Mortuary in Vista. A private cremation is planned.
