Billie Jean Bush, 89, passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Saturday in Moore Memorial Gardens. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Arlington Funeral Home. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mission Arlington.
Billie was born May 31, 1923, in Comanche, to John and Delia Burdette. She worked for LTV for 12 years. She and her husband, Al, owned a pest control company with their son in Arlington for many years. Billie and her husband, Al, had been very active members of First Baptist Church in Arlington since 1950. The family would like to thank Miriam Williamson of Serenity Inn and all caregivers as well as Mission Hospice who lovingly took such great care of our dear mother. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Alfred Bush; brother, John E. Burdette; and sister, Earline Fletcher.
Survivors: Son, Royce and wife, Jeri; daughter, Renee and husband, Bob; grandchildren, Kristi Grinstead, Carrie Johnson, Shannon Bigham and Shane Bigham; great-grandson, Colton Grinstead; brother, William Norris Burdette; and sister, Dorothy Jones.
