Rufus E. Bailey, 92 years old, died last Thursday at the home of his nephew, Shirley Wilson in Green County, with whom he had made his home for some time. Death was due to infirmities incident to advanced age. Mr. Bailey was a native of Adair County and was an uncle of R. B. Wilson, of this city, and W. P. Bailey, residing in the Lemons Bend section. Funeral services were held Friday at Mt. Carmel Church, in Adair County, with burial in the church cemetery. ~The News-Journal, Thursday, February 12, 1925
