The funeral of Mrs. Anna Jane Pavey, 74, pioneer, West Middleton, will be held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock at the Christian church at Russiaville. The burial will be in the Russiaville cemetery. Mrs. Pavey had been sick about ten months and died at her late home Sunday morning of cancer of the liver. She was a woman greatly beloved and one of the oldest residents of West Middleton. Besides her children she is survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The husband, James Pavey, and four children survive. The children are Addeline Ricketts and George Pavey of California, and Charles Pavey and Mary Stroud of Russiaville. (From the Kokomo Tribune Tue 9 Jan 1923 p 11)
