Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia M. Clark, 89 years of age, were held Tuesday from the Mt. Carmel Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Clark died at the home of her son in Lexington, IL, Saturday. A native of Adair County, she was the daughter of the late William Henry Pike and Eliza Jane Watson Pike. She was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are 3 children: Mrs. Virgil Pike, Campbellsville; Mrs. Sam Hitch, Route 5; and Calvin Clark, Lexington, IL. She also leaves 19 grandchildren and a brother, Rufus Prichard. The pallbearers were Ben Pike, Alvin Pike, Ruby Pike, Ira Pike, Elmer Clark and R. Melvin Clark. Flower bearers were Corene Clark, Mrs. Ann Willis, Mrs. L.R. Willis and Mrs. Claude Smith.
