It has pleased Almighty God, in His infinite wisdom and mercy, to call unto His Heavenly home Jill Ann Lawrence Sept 8, 2008, age 47 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Jill was born on April 4, 1961 in Saginaw, MI to Orson J. and Laura V. Palmer Lawrence.
She joined Christ's family by the Sacrament of Holy Baptism by The Rev. Victor Spiekerman at Trinity Lutheran Church in Saginaw and by her Confirmation of Faith at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church by the Rev. Joel T. Ehlert.
After moving to Frankenmuth, MI in 1967 she attended Frankenmuth Elementary and Middle Schools. She was graduated from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in 1979.
Jill is survived by her mother, Mrs. Laura Lawrence, a daughter Erika Taylor and her children Destiny, Matthew, and Orson C., a Son, Brandon Lee Reeve and his friend Kayla, 2 brothers, David S. Lawrence of Frankenmuth, Greg M. (Tina) Lawrence and their children; Greg II, Daniel, Ashton, and Whitney, and many dear friends.
She was predeceased by her loving father Orson J. Lawrence.
Jill was engaged in retail sales, child care/preschool (and loved every child) and as a cashier at Zehnders Restaurant until her illness. She enjoyed crafts, card playing and music.
Visitation will be at the Cederberg Funeral Home in Frankenmuth on Weds. Sept. 10th from 2-8 P.M. She will lie in repose at St. John's Lutheran Church from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM on Thurs, Sept, 11th.
Respecting Jill's wishes, in lieu of flowers, contributions to her funeral fund or a charitable organization of your choice are requested.
