Clara Schmidtberger, 96, homemaker, died Friday, Dec. 20, 1996. Vigil 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Cline's Mortuary; service 10 a.m. Monday, St. Fidelis Catholic Church.

Survivors: sons, Michael, Robert, both of Victoria, Marvin of Pratt; daughters, Mary Schmidtberger, Hermina Roth, both of Victoria, Hubertine Schultz, Roseline Leiker, both of Hutchinson, Albertine Foos of Great Bend, Sister Vivian of La Ceila, Honduras, Edna Ptacek of Minneapolis; 46 grandchildren; 118 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials have been established with St. Fidelis Cemetery Fund and Sisters of St. Agnes, Sister Vivian Schmidtberger Mission in Honduras.
