Catherine -- Cecilia Giebler, 82, died Sunday, June 1, at St. Anthony Hospital in Hays.

She was born Nov. 25, 1887 at Victoria, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Pfeifer) Graf.

She married John Giebler in November, 1906; he died in 1951.

Survivors include seven sons, Feliz and Alvin, both of Hays, Alois, Wichita, Victor, Oxnard, Calif., William, Chicago, Patrick, Defiance, Ohio, and Alban, Dodge City; four daughters, Mrs. Cap (Henrietta) Burgardt, Mrs. Lydia Herman and Petronilia Giebler, all of Hays, and Mrs. Jane Werth, Wichita; three sisters, Mrs. Agatha VonFeldt and Mrs. Lidwina Dreiling, both of Denver, and Mrs. Clara Schmidtberger, Victoria; 31 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Catherine Catholic Church, Catherine; St. Catherine Cemetery. Friends may call at Brock’s North Hill Chapel from 7-9 p.m. Monday and 1-9 p.m. Tuesday. There will be a parish wake service at 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brock’s.
