Found in The State 05 March 1943: Mrs. Eva Bowers Lilly, 74, died at 5:30 yesterday morning at the home of Mrs. L. M. Lindsay of 2823 Clark street. Mrs. Lilly was the widow of E. F. Lilly who died in 1935, was born in Garnett, but had spent the last 50 years of her life in Columbia. She was a member of the First Christian church here. Survivors are: one cousin, Mrs. S. S. Wadsworth of Florida; two nephews, W. O. Young and J. B. Young, both of Columbia.
Note: William and James Young are the sons of Birdie Lilly Young, sister of Egbert.
