MRS. ROSE DENTLER
Mrs. Rose Staff Dentler, 78, of 1707 Beauvoir, No. 39, died at 4:30 a.m. Sunday in a local hospital following a long illness.
She was born March 8, 1905, in Victoria, and ws a lifetime resident of the city. The daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Damm Staff, she was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Her husband, Theodore "Ted" Dentler, died July 21, 1975.
Rosary will be recited Monday at 7 p.m. at McCabe-Carruth Funeral Homer Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael O'Shaughnessy officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the church from 9:30 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.
Survivors include a daughter, Jo Ann Erickson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Jentry of Inez' and a brother, Bernard Staff, of Victoria.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home.
The body will lie in state at the church from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
