MR. DENTLER
Theodore R. "Ted" Dentler, 73, of Beeville died at 10:05 a.m. Monday in a local hospital after an extended illness.
Mr. Dentler was born April 15, 1902, in Meyersville, the son of the late Joseph Dentler and Carrie Timme Dentler. He resided in Bee County for 20 years and is a former resident of Victoria. He was a retired Civil Service employee at Chase Field in Beeville and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard Toal officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home.
Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of the usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the Cancer Fund.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rose Dentler of Beeville; and a daughter, Mrs. Brian "Jo Ann" Erickson of Pompano Beach, Fla.

Funeral services for Theodore "Ted" R. Dentler, 73, of Beeville, who died Monday morning in a local hospital following a long illness, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Richard M. Toal officiating.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of McCabe-Carruth Funeral Home. The body will lie in stat at the church from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of services.
Pallbearers will be Charles Miller, Frank Staff, Jacob Maurer, Oscar Timme, Francis Staff and Tommy Thompson.
In lieu of the usual remembrances, friends have been invited to make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
