Headstone indexed as "P.A. Conley, Ne McGuire - Wife of J.H. Madden" in February, 1956 by the Chief Tusquahoma Chapter DAR for the book, "Louisiana Tombstone Inscriptions: Volume I Ouachita Parish".

According to Dr. E. Russ Williams' book "Encyclopedia of Founding Families of the Ouachita Valley of Louisiana" Volume Two, page 332, this is Perluna Ann McGuire, daughter of Nimrod and Elizabeth Toomer McGuire. She was born in Madison County, MS. She married first in 1857 to F.D. Conley. Secondly, she married J.H. "Jake" Madden and had two daughters and a son, "Jane, Mary and "Bud". There are two Conley children listed in the DAR index nearby and one can make the assumption that they are her children as well, by her first husband.

According to marriage records of Hancock County, MS, "Peluna A. McGuire" married Felton D. "Donley" November 11, 1858.

Her death was noted in the New Orleans Times-Democrat of October 29, 1899:
The friends of Mrs. J.H. McGuire sympathize with her in her grief for the death of her beloved sister-in-law, Mrs. J.H. Madden of Simsboro, La., who died Oct. 21, and was buried near Monroe, La. Mrs. Madden was a sister of Mrs. H.H. Russell of Monroe who spent the summer at the Bay.
