ECHO - A Mass of Christian Burial for Lila D. Broussard was held at 10 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2010 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, Echo with Rev. Scott Chemino officiating. Interment was held in St. Francis de Sales Church Cemetery under the direction of Kramer of Fifth Ward.
Lila D. Broussard, age 74, of Echo, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2010 in her residence.
She is preceded in death by one son, Kirby Barbin; and one daughter, Ruby Barbin.
Lila Broussard is survived by her husband, Freeman Broussard of Echo; six children, Ruth Shaw (Keith) of Mansura, Julia Goudeau (Murry) of Mansura, Lemmie Barbin (Lucy) of Mansura, David Barbin (Gail) of Echo, Virginia Dauzat and fiance Jerry Juneau of Bunkie, Lila LeCombe of Marksville; one stepson; two stepdaughters; one brother, Lindsey Dauzat (Juanita) of Marksville; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
