A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Lila Lacombe at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 9, 2018, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with Rev. Dwight DeJesus officiating.

Interment will follow in St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Kramer of Fifth Ward.

Visitation will be held at Kramer of Fifth Ward beginning on Sunday, April 8, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and will resume on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will be in the Kramer of Fifth Ward Chapel at 7:00 p.m.

Lila Lacombe, age 57, of Echo, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018, in her residence.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald “Pookie” Lacombe; her father Lemmie Barbin, Sr.; and her mother and step father Lila and Freeman Broussard; one brother Kirby Barbin; and her father-in-law, T.F. Lacombe.

Lila was a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. She was a homemaker most of her life, devoting herself to taking care of all of her family. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and worked for Harvest Food Grocery for the last 7 years. Lila loved spending time with her family playing cards and listening to country music.

She is survived by her children Travis Lacombe and his wife Dawn of Fifth Ward, Bradley Lacombe and his wife Brandy of Hessmer, and Lacie Lacombe and Keith Bonnette Jr. of Echo; her grandchildren, Hayley King, Kyle Lacombe, Jonathon Gorham, Jacob Lacombe and Luke Bonnette; her siblings, Ruth Shaw and her husband Keith, Julia Goudeau and her husband Murry, Lemmie Barbin, Jr. and his fiancé Bridget, David Barbin and his wife Gail, and Virgina Dauzat and her companion Mark, and her mother-in-law, Jeanette Lacombe, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Dwight Dauzat, Dwaine Dauzat, Jeremy Dauzat, Curt Goudeau, Reginald Barbin, Joshua Lacombe, Tyler Lacombe, Colby Lacombe and Dusty Lacombe.
