Age 87, wife of the late Richard H. Kelley, died Sept. 23, 2008, at a Bangor health care center. She was born Aug. 12, 1921, in Brewer, the daughter of Ernest and Gladys (LeGuff) Puffer. Helen was a dedicated homemaker. She enjoyed hooking rugs and traveling. She was predeceased by her husband; her parents; and a brother, Sterling Puffer. Surviving are three sisters, Gladys Hackett and her husband Lledrew, June Brown, and Katherine Sloat and her husband Clarence.
