Obituary - Mrs. Edna Collins, 78, of Old Country Road, Eastport, former resident of Patchogue, died Monday.
She was born in Patchogue, and had lived in Eastport 15 years. She was a charter member of Patchogue Post 269, American Legion Auxiliary, and of Jayne-Lattin Post VFW Auxiliary of Patchogue.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Iva Bristow of Eastport; and several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late H. Chester Swezey and Lewis Swezey.
VFW Auxiliary services will be held at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, followed by American Legion Auxiliary services at 8 p.m. at the Ruland Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, the Rev. Gordon Dickson, pastor of the East Moriches Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Patchogue.
