MICHAEL F. BAUMANN (d. 1969)
Funeral services for Michael F. Baumann, 66, of Rt. 2, Manitowoc,
killed Wednesday morning when his 1969 model car struck a culvert on
Highway 151 west of Chilton, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Pfeffer
Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo Schmitt will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Baumann was born Sept. 1, 1903, son of the late Michael J. and
Anna Steeber Baumann, He married Irene Helminiak May 14, 1938, at St.
Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc, and his wife preceded him in death
June 10. He had been employed by Medusa Portland Cement Co. until
retiring in July. Mr. Baumann was a member of the Cement, Lime and
Gypsum Workers Union Local 34.
Survivors include four brothers, Ervin of Rt. 4, Manitowoc, Victor of
Rt. 1, Whitelaw, Reuben of Milwaukee and Herbert of Sheboygan and six
sisters, Mrs. Everett Anderson of Martinez, Calif. Miss Mildred
Baumann of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, Mrs. Bernice Stein of Sheboygan, Mrs.
George Rothe of El Paso, Tex., Mrs. James Flasch of Waukesha and Mrs.
Harry Gulledge of Chicago.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where at 7:30
p.m. memorial service will be conducted.
