MICHAEL BAUMANN (d. 1964)
Michael J. Baumann Sr., 94, of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, died at 4:25 p.m.
Friday at home.
Funeral services will be at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home,
Manitowoc, and at 10 a.m. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Reif
Mills. The Rev. John Haen will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Baumann was born Aug. 7, 1869, in the Town of Franklin, Manitowoc
County, son of the late George and Barbara Shanda Baumann Sr. He
always resided on Rt. 1, Whitelaw. He married Ann Steeber Aug. 26,
1902, at St. Augustine Church. She died Dec. 27, 1954. The life
member of the church retired from active farming 10 years ago.
Surviving are five sons, Michael Jr., of Rt. 2, Manitowoc, Ervin of
Rt. 4, Manitowoc, Victor of Rt. 1, Whitelaw, Reuben of Milwaukee and
Herbert of Sheboygan; six daughters, Mrs. Everett Anderson of
Martinze, Calif, Miss Mildred Baumann of Rt. 1 Whitelaw, Mrs. George
Rothe of Milwaukee, Mrs. James Flasch of Waukesha and Mrs. Berniece
Stein of Manitowoc; and 11 grand-children.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday where the
Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
