Delmar W. Balge, 62, of 1105A S. Seventh St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly
Wednesday morning at home.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Norval W. Kock will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Balge was born April 3, 1912, at Manitowoc, son of the late Richard and
Lavina Haase Balge. He was a lifelong resident of Manotowoc and attended
First German Evangelical Grade School and was graduated from Lincoln High
School, Manitowoc, in 1929. He had been employed at Mirro Aluminum Co.,
Manitowoc, for 47 years. He was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran
Church and Men's Club of the church, 25-Year-Club of Mirro and Machinists
Union Local No. 516
Survivors include two brothers, Norman R., of Milwaukee and Lyle A., of Rt.
1, Manitowoc, nieces and nephews and other relatives. Three brothers and
a sister preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday
and at the church Saturday from noon until the time of service.
