Ann (Montague) Redmond is probably the Nancy Ann Montague, daughter of William and Ann Montague, who was baptized 16 July 1794 at the parish church in Orchardleigh, Somerset, England. She emigrated to the United States with her family sometime between 1800 and 1803. The family resided at Roxbury and Boston, Massachusetts; Biddeford, Maine; and Albany, New York, prior to their move after the War of 1812 to Ontario, Canada, where they spent a year in 1816 at Long Point, Ontario, before moving to London Township, Ontario, in 1817.

Ann married Michael Redmond 21 July 1819. Bishop R. H. Dignan noted in his address "The Early History of Catholicity in London" October 8, 1941 that Ann was the first convert to Catholicisim in London when she married Michael. They had nine children prior to her death 21 March 1848 at age 54 years.
