Pauline was raised on the family farm in Paw Paw, MI, and graduated from Paw Paw High School in 1933. She married Clarence W. Cox on August 23, 1952. She worked for 10 years at the Upjohn Co. in Kalamazoo and retired from Kellogg Co. in Battle Creek in 1973 after 17 years. They lived at St. Mary's Lake, MI, and wintered in Mesa, AZ. She was devoted to her husband, Clarence, and deeply loved by him and many sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
