Born in Somerset County Jan. 5, 1873, a daughter of John and Lena (Shaffer) Keafer. Widow of Levi Saylor. Survived by these sons and daughters: Mrs. Erma Coleman, mentioned; Arlo, 168 Derby Street; Norris, 535 Cypress Avenue; Arthur, 9 Jefferson Street; Mrs. Florence Wellhausen, Detroit, Mich., and Stanford, 727 Liberty Avenue; a sister, Miss Matilda Keafer, 151 Sell Street; three brothers - Valentine, 171 Derby Street; William, 12 Hickory Lane, and John, 175 Derby Street; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Charter member of St. Paul's EUB Church. Friends received after 4 p.m. Saturday at John Henderson Funeral Home, 215 Central Avenue, where services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Rev. H. G. Paul. Interment, Berkley Cemetery.
