Robert E. Cameron, 64, of RR1 Allenwood, died Sunday, Feb.18, 1996, at his home, following as eight-week illness.
Mr. Cameron was born March 14, 1931, in RR1 Montgomery, a son of the late Harry and Emma Fry Cameron. Mr. Cameron was married to the former Pauline Masser for more than 10 years.
Mr. Cameron served in the Army as a military policeman from 1948-1951.
Mr. Cameron was employed by the West Co., Montgomery, retiring in 1993.
Mr. Cameron enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening.
In addition to his wife, surviving are, on stepson, Paul Zeyn of Joplin, MO; one stepdaughter, Karen Zeyn of Downingtown; one brother, Nelson of RD Montgomery; and three sisters, Connie Fuller of RD Muncy, Grace Fornwalt of Montgomery and Betty Bower of RD Montgomery.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Herbert E. Barr Funeral Home, 124 Main St. Watsontown, by the Rev. Arlie Davis, of the Christian Wesleyan Church, RD2 Milton. Burial will be in Uniontown cemetery, Allenwood.
Visitors may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Susquehanna Home Health Services Hospice.
