Patricia Ann Byrom died at Hospice of Martin County on Saturday, July 14. She was 87 years old. She was a longtime resident of Sewall's Point having moved to Stuart from Key Biscayne in 1980. Byrom (nee McGreevy) was born on March 16, 1925 in Mountain Lakes, NJ and studied voice on a scholarship at the Juilliard School Music in New York. As a coloratura soprano, she performed in "Hansel and Gretel" at the Brooklyn Opera House, "Anya" on Broadway, in recital at Carnegie Hall and on RKO radio in New York. Byrom was also a certified yoga instructor and in 1995 founded Martin County's first professional yoga studio, The Yoga Center of Stuart on East Ocean Boulevard.
She is survived by her husband Martin Byrom, daughter Jacqueline Hoffman, son Michael Hoffman and grandson Michael Hoffman, J.r
A private memorial will be held at her home Casa Ananda in Sewall's Point.
