ELSIE AWE

Mrs. Emil Awe, 67, of 610 York St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. L. H. Koeninger will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery.
The former Elsie Frosch was born at Manitowoc Rapids Dec. 7, 1889, daughter of
the late Louis and Mary Matek Frosch. She was married in 1906 to Matthew Lambries.
He died in ___. Five …(line underinked)…Awe and the couple settled on a farm at
the Town of Newton. He died in 1931 and Mrs. Awe came to Manitowoc to make her
home.
She is survived by four sons, Henry, Matt and Louis Lambries and Howard Awe of
Manitowoc; five daughters, Mrs. Esther Miller, Mrs. Jack Wester, Mrs. Wayne Wilson
and Mrs. Louis Schram of Manitowoc and Mrs. Peter Lam____ of Kenosha; three
brothers, William of Iron Mountain, Mich., Carl of Portland, Ore., and Leonard of
Milwaukee; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Strodthoff, Mrs. Erwin Miller and Mrs. William
Rohrer of Manitowoc; 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Tuesday.
