Bette J. Schram, age 87, of 1010 S. 23rd, St., Manitowoc died Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.

Bette was born November 26, 1927 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Emil and Elsie (Frosh) Awe. On June 28, 1947 Bette married Louis R. Schram Sr. at First German Ev. Lutheran Church. He preceded her in death on April 28, 2014. She was employed at Imperial Eastman for 34 years until her retirement. She was a member of First German Ev. Lutheran Church. Bette enjoyed gardening, baking, sewing, camping, decorating wedding cakes and especially spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law: Michael E. Schram and special friend Lori Klabunde, Manitowoc; Louis A. (Patricia) Schram Jr., Manitowoc; 3 grandchildren: Eric (Kristina) Schram, Manitowoc; Daryl Schram, Manitowoc; Ryan Schram and his fiancee: Krista Bruso, Manitowoc; 2 great grandchildren: Max and Ella Schram, Manitowoc; 1 brother: Louis Lambries, Manitowoc; 1 sister: Violet Wester, Manitowoc; 1 brother-in-law: Raymond Vesley, Manitowoc, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Louis R. Schram Sr.; 3 sisters and 1 brother-in-law: Lee (Pete) Lampada; Esther Sittman; Evelyn Wilson; 3 brothers and 4 sisters-in-law: Henry Lambries; Matt (Ann) Lambries; Howard (Carol) Awe; Sally Lambries; Adeline Vesley; 2 brothers-in-law: John Wester; Wayne Wilson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at First German Ev. Lutheran Church, 1033 S. 8th St. Manitowoc. The Rev.'s Benjamin Schaefer and Christopher Hoppe will officiate with entombment to follow at Knollwood Mausoleum. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Manitowoc is assisting the Schram family.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Holy Family Memorial Medical Center for the care and compassion given to Bette.
