Funeral services for Mrs. Rickie Altman, 91, formerly of 816 Z Ct., who died Monday, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Kroos-Mason Funeral Home.
The Rev. Louis Huber, pastor emeritus of St. Mark Lutheran Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m.
The former Rickie T. Schroeter was born in Manitowoc July 31, 1886, a daughter of August and Wilhemina (sic) Utecht Schroeter. She attended the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manitowoc.
On Jan. 2, 1911, she married Alfred P. Altman. The couple lived in Ogden, Utah, for five years before moving to Sheboygan.
Her husband was in the florist business with his brother, William, for a time and later worked for the Sheboygan Greenhouses. He died Oct. 11, 1950.
Mrs. Altman was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church and a charter member of the Mission Society.
Survivors are twin sons, LaMar and LaVerne, both of Sheboygan; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, two brothers and five sisters.
A memorial fund has been established in Mrs. Altman’s name.
