Ms. Owens was a member of the First Baptist Church of Marshall. She was the president of the PTO and a Northwest High School volunteer. She was also a member of the American Diabetes Association. She enjoyed making ceramics and crafts. Funeral services were held at the McLaughlin Funeral Chapel with Brother Carl Gravett officiating.
