EVA BYARS DIES; FUNERAL AT UNION CHAPEL ON SUNDAY

Eva M. Byars, a nurse for the past 20 years and a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barney J. Byars of Farrington township, died at 3:45 o'clock this morning in Iuka. Her age was 40 years and 19 days.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Oscar Hawkins of Wells Chapel church in Farrington township at two o'clock Sunday afternoon.

The body will remain at the Osburn funeral Home in Dix until eight o'clock tonight, at which time it will be taken to the home of her parents in Farrington township. Friends may view the body at the home at any time up to the funeral hour.

She was employed for many years in the office of Dr. Simmons.

Besides her mother and father, Barney J. and Bertha Byars, she is survived by four brothers, Clair of Keenes and Lewis, Roger and Walter of Centralia; and one sister, Mrs. Floss Manring of Centralia.
