Benjamin Fellnagle, 79 years of age, a life-long resident of Beaver township, Mahoning county, died late Saturday from pneumonia at his residence in North Lima. He had been ill only a few days. His condition was not regarded as serious until a short time before the end.
Deceased was a carpenter and for many years followed his trade in Beaver township and vicinity. A number of years ago he abandoned his business and settled on a farm. As old age drew on he left the farm and took up his residence in the village. He was of German stock and was well known in this section, where he has a host of friends and relatives.
Mr. Fellnagle was twice married. His first wife and only daughter died a number of years ago. He is survived by his second wife, who was Mrs. Emma Wentz. He also leaves a brother and number of other relatives.
The funeral was held Monday at 1 p. m. from the residence, with interment in North Lima cemetery. Rev. Myers of Evangelical Church, of which deceased was a member, conducted the largely attended services.
