The son of William Prentice Bishop and Cora Ella Sparks- Bishop, he was the manager of the shoe department of Pfeifers Department Store. His obituary states he is buried at Oakland Cemetery.
I know that his obit went by P. and Cora Bishop. But his parents were William Prentice Bishop and Cora Ella Sparks. In the 1900 census it states that this Joseph Bishop was married from my findings he married a Lydia Roberts, I haven't been able to find out anything about Lydia, and I haven't done much research on her yet. I am not sure why they say he is buried here at Mt. Holly Cemetery if he is truly buried at Oakland instead. Haven't been able to find an Oakland Cemetery on here.
