Annalee M. Fuller "left her earthly body to be with her Lord and Savior" on July 17, 2012. Born the youngest of seven siblings in Spokane on Sept. 13, 1922, she was raised in Delaware after her parents, Silas and Marian McHenry, lost their fortune in the Depression and purchased a farm where they could be sure of putting food on the table.

After graduating from nursing school at age 17, she met a tall, young soldier and married John Dennis Fuller Jr. Following her husband to California, their lives, like everyone else's, were interrupted by the beginning of World War II.

Annalee attempted to work as a "Rosie the Riveter" in Long Beach, Calif., shipyard, but as she later said, "If our victory depended on me being able to work in a shipyard, we were going to lose the war."

Noticing a job posting on the bulletin board, she applied for and was hired to work for the Department of Defense in Washington, D.C., doing a variety of mathematical and financial duties. After the war ended, she transferred to McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, Calif. Her only child, John D. Fuller, was born in 1946, and since she and her husband divorced shortly thereafter, she set out to raise her son and serve her country and her Lord.

She retired from government service in 1974, and then proceeded to devote her life to serving her God. She worked in a variety of ministries, supporting orphanages in Mexico, unwed mother shelters in East L.A., and even owning and administrating four Christian television stations in Arkansas.

Beset by the dually crippling diseases of osteoporosis and macular degeneration, she refused to allow her disabilities to dampen her spirit and her intent to obey the Great Commission.

Her last wishes included the request that "all who bear this be reminded that everyone has a choice to accept God or reject Him ... may each of you choose correctly."

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Cynthia Fuller of Whitefish; one grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Erik and Shelly Fuller of Spring, Texas; and four great-grandchildren, Trent, Kevin, Maggie and Sean.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday July 20, at C.E. Conrad Memorial Cemetery.
