Doris Robinson (1923-2012)
BONHAM - Funeral services for Doris Robinson, 88, of Bonham will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Bill Beasley and Bro. Morgan Malone will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove. Mrs. Robinson passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Seven Oaks Nursing Home in Bonham.
Doris Louise (Hall) Robinson was born on November 20, 1923 in Cumby to Carl Franklin and Elizabeth Addie (Miller) Hall. She married William Modie Robinson on April 26, 1947 in Midland. He preceded her in death in 2009. Mrs. Robinson was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Bonham.
She is survived by sons,William "Bill" Robinson and wife Laura of Bonham, and Robert Wayne Robinson and wife Tamberly of Bonham; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Shelton of Bonham, Merle Moore of Garland, and Juanita Barnett of Bonham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Buddy Barnett, Tim Shelton, Chuck Moore, Dennis Ott, Jerry Perry, and Otho Bowmer.
Family visitation will be held at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel prior to the service starting at 10 a.m.
