Dorothy Shelton, 93 of Paris, formerly of Honey Grove, passed away Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Paris Regional Hospital in Paris.

Funeral services are scheduled for Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2014, in the Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home chapel at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Ken Sheppard-Mahaffey presiding. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Honey Grove.

Dorothy Hazel (Hall) Shelton was born July 8, 1921, to Carl Franklin (Bud) Hall and Addie (Miller) Hall in Cumby.

She married Earl Green (E.G.) Shelton May 2, 1943, in Roxton. He preceded her in death in 1987.

Dorothy owned and operated Dorothy's Beauty Shop in Honey Grove for many years.

Mrs. Shelton is survived by daughter and husband, Rosa and Otho Bowmer, and son and wife Tim G. and Beth Shelton. She is also survived by three grandsons, Andy Bowmer, Blake Bowmer and Matt Shelton; great-grandchildren, Blair and Cameron Bowmer; sisters, Juanita Barnett and Merle Moore.

Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by her parents; husband, E.G. Shelton; and sister, Doris Robinson.
