William Starkie, of 13, Eden Quay, Dublin, son of Robert Starkie, married Frances Maria Power, of Northumberland Avenue, Kingstown, Co. Dublin, daughter of Michael Power, on 29th October 1850, at St. Thomas's Church [C of I], Dublin.

At the birth of Edyth, the family were living at Westcliff House, Co. Galway.

Edyth Starkie Rackham [27 Nov. 1867 - Mar. 1941].

Her husband William died at Wychcombe Studio, Haverstock Street, London in 1897, which was where their daughter Edyth was working.

Frances Mary Starkie, aged 79, a widow of a Resident Magistrate, died on 2 April 1904, at Rossbeg, Westport.
The cause of death was Cerebral Apoplexy, 47 days, Hemiplegis (right), 45 days, Senile Gangrene, 3 days, certified.
