Mrs. Phoebe Bashline, 85, of Butler, formerly of Bruin, died at Haven Nursing Home, New Castle, this morning. Her husband, Charles Bashline, died in December 1970. She was a member of Church of God, Butler. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Spence, of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. John (Edna) Gibson, of Butler; two sisters, Mrs. Nora Patton, of Knox, and Mrs. Jess (Jennie ) Best, of Callensburg; three brothers, Frank Cope, of New Castle, Henry Cope, of Burgettstown, and Ben Cope, of Callensburg; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at Fred S. Bowser Funeral Home, Parker, from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Sunday. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from the funeral home with Rev. Gordon K. Powell, pastor of Church of God, Butler, officiating. Burial will be in Callensburg Cemetery.
