Mary A. Spence, 91, formerly of Bruin and Homestead, died at 5:20 a.m. today at Sunnyview Nursing Home. Born in Foxburg, on May 21, 1907, she was the daughter of Charles and Phoebe (Cope) Bashline. She was a homemaker and a Protestant. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Lineman, of Butler; a son, Charles Spence, of Warne, North Carolina; a sister, Mrs. Edna Gibson, of Clearwater, Florida; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy A. Spence, who died in November 1966, a daughter, and a sister. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Thompson-Miller Funeral Home. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Kenneth Hall, pastor of North Main Street Church of God, officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Burial Estates, Mount Chestnut.
