FORREST GRANT SMITH JR.
PRICE, UTAH--Forrest Grant Smith Jr., 66, died Sunday, December 20, 1998 in the Utah Valley Medical Center, Provo, Utah.
He was born September 14, 1932 in Murray, Utah to Forrest Grant and Sarah Jane Griffiths Smith Sr. He married Bena Lee Black April 18, 1952 in the Manti Temple. He was an active member of the L.D.S. Church and a member of the United Mine Workers of America.He was a devoted husband to his wife Bena Lee and a loving and caring father.
He is survived by his wife Bena Lee and sons and daughter: James William (Lorie) of Cleveland, Ohio; Jamie Naylor of Salt Lake City; Earl Grant of Las Vegas, NV; Gary D. (Sonia) of Price; Mrs. Norman (Lorri) Browning of Magna; parents Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Grant Smith Sr. of Price; brothers and sisters: Gerald Leon of Orem; Colleen Hatch of American Falls, ID; Sharon Smith of Price; Roger of Castle Dale; Judi Baker of Orangeville; and Gregory of Montrose, CO; 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters Lorri and Tamara and a sister Bonnie.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday December 23, 1998 at the Price First Ward Chapel at 100 So. 500 E. Viewing will be one hour prior to services at the ward chapel under direction of Fausett Mortuary. Burial in Price City Cemetery.
