Mrs. Hazel Evelyn Hardison Aldridge, 84, long–time resident of Third Avenue in Columbia, died Tuesday, August 6, 2002, at NHC of Chattanooga.

A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 3:30 P.M. at Rose Hill Cemetery with Ted Burleson officiating. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 1:00 P.M. to 3:15 P.M. at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home.
The Maury County native was the daughter of the late Robert Samuel (Sam) Hardison and Mary Ann Jones Hardison. On March 15, 1941 she married Charles Terrell Aldridge who preceded her in death. She was a 1936 graduate of Central High School, a homemaker and long-time member of West Seventh Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Barbara (Jerry) Greeson of Atlanta, Georgia, Mrs. Lynne (Bruce) Cole of McMinnville; Mrs. Mary Alice (Wayne) Gilbreath of Chattanooga; one son, Terry (Sue) Aldridge of Des Plains, Illinois; one sister, Mrs. Rachel (Jim) Bevins of Nashville; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Scott Cole, Jay Greeson, Jerry Greeson, Ray Bevins, Wayne Gilbreath and Gipson Baucum.
