Blair Woman 86 Observes Birthday
Mrs. Dorothee Wulf, of 708 West Front Street, held open house last Thursday afternoon for her friends and neighbors on her 86th birthday. The aged Blair woman, who has lived in Blair for forty years, entertained both afternoon and evening for a large number of friends. Mrs. Wulf is the wife of the late Claus Wulf, who passed away in 1937. Born in Germany, Mrs. Wulf came to this country with her parents when fourteen years of age. She and her husband farmed for many years on the home place near the Lincoln school now occupied by William Wulf. They farmed there until 1910, when they retired from active farming and moved to Blair. Mrs. Wulf is the mother of five children, all of whom reside in this county. They are George Wulf, of Arlington, William Wulf on the home place, Mrs. Emma Stork, Blair, Hans Wulf, Blair, and Mrs Harry Larsen of Kennard.
∼Buried: 11/9/1950 - Age: 14
* I have some question about the details. Her DOB was entered as 3/30/1964 and her DOD was entered as 11/7/1950. Could be 1864-1950? Something else. Need confirmation.
