In 1895 Albert married Millie Reeves in Edmonton and they had four children together. Sadly only their son Stanley George Reeves Barratt born in 1900 survived into adulthood.
Sir Albert was the chairman of Barratt & Company, sweet manufacturers 1912-1921, the confectionary company was started by his father in 1848. He was knighted in 1922 and held the office of Justice of the Peace.
Sir Albert was laid to rest in the family grave with his wife Milly at Highgate Cemetery and was 81 at the time of his passing.
