Mr. Glenn Charles Alderson, 72, native of the Theta Community, died Sunday, March 14, 2004 at Ridgewood Care Center in Copley, Ohio.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m., Thursday at Oakes & Nichols Funeral Home with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hill Cemetery in Theta. The family will visit with friends Wednesday from 4 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Notes of sympathy may be sent to the family at www.oakesandnichols.com.

The Maury County native was the son of the late Charlie Alderson and Lettie Hood Alderson. He was retired from Logan Metal & Stamping in Akron, Ohio. He served in the United States Navy and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his devoted, special friend, Pat Andrews of Akron, Ohio; three sisters, Lois (Frank) Lindsey, Rachel Foster, Shirley (Tony) West all of Columbia; three brothers, Billy (Ruth) Alderson of Thompson Station, Jerry Alderson and Larry (Joyce) Alderson both of Columbia; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wayne Alderson and Clyde Alderson.

Pallbearers will be Greg Nazarewicz, Charles Alderson, Jeff Alderson, David Hubler, Dwlon Jackson, Alan Lindsey, Andy Pinnix, Bradley Pinnix, David Foster, Chris Odom, Mike Moody, Jeff Estes, Heath Alderson, Kieth Alderson, Christopher Alderson, Andy Derryberry and Mark Craig.
