Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Braly May, 81, widow of Monnie May, were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Moriah Cumberland Presbyterian Church, conducted by the pastor of the church, the Rev. Robert Hall. Burial took place in the church cemetery. Mrs. May died at 11 o'clock Monday night, April 23, at her home in Bodenham, after a period of declining health.
Born March 26, 1881, in Giles County, she was the daughter of the late R. C. Braly and Virginia Neal Braly. She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
Her husband, Monnie May, died March 10, this year.
Mrs. May is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Geneva Miles; one sister, Mrs. Charlie Zeigler; and one brother, Finis Braly, all of the Bodenham community. Bennett-May and Company in charge of arrangements
