Mrs. C.M. Burt To BE Laid To Rest In Hewitt

Grandsons Will Serve As Bearers, Last Rites Today

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock from the Butturff-Bjerke Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Chauncey M. Burt of Menahga, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.R. Braddon on Sunday. The Rev. Theoph. Meckel will officiate. Interment will be in the Hewitt cemetery, with six grandsons, Richard Fischer, Wm. Trimble, Robert Braddon, Gary Trimble, James Fischer and Ernest Trimble, serving as bearers.
Nancy Eliza Dissmore, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Dissmore, was born June 20, 1875, at Fredericksburg, Iowa. Her marriage to George H. Trimble took place at Hubbard, Minn., on Nov. 24, 1895. He passed away January 20, 1936. On July 13, 1940, she was united in marriage with Chauncey Burt at Hubbard, who with nine children, survives. They are Ernest Trimble of Menahga, George Trimble of Walker, Mrs. Glenn Rex (Lillian) of Pullman, Wash., Mrs. Hazel Fischer of Minneapolis, Earl Trimble of White Sulpher Springs, Montana, Harry Trimble of Umtilla, Ore., Robert Trimble of Laurel, Montana, Mrs. C.R. Braddon (Helen) of Wadena and Mrs. Mrs. Fred Strom (Louise) of St. Paul. There are 19 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A brother, Robert Dissmore lives at Menahga.
