Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Christian Church with Dr. Jeff Knighton, pastor, officiating. Private burial will follow in Erick, Okla. Arrangements are by Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors of Pampa.
Mr. Hood had been a resident of Pampa since 1952 and owned Hood Pharmacy for more than 40 years. He was a member, elder, Sunday school minister and treasurer at First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Hood; a stepson, Carl Hill of Gatlinburg, Tenn.; a sister, Delia Benton of Denton; a brother, Dr. W.E. Hood of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Grand Central
