He was born in Nampa, Idaho on July 15, 1943, the son of Clifford and Edna May Miller. He attended Jefferson Grade School, West Junior High and Borah High School in Boise.
He continued at the University of Idaho after two years at Boise Junior College. During his years at U of I, he became a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, graduating with a degree in architecture.
Brent served in Vietnam as a Lieutenant in the Navy. He moved to Denver and became active in the building and development community there for many years.
He married his wife, Pene, and had two sons, Tyler and Connor, who were cherished and loved by their father. Tyler followed in his footsteps, becoming an architect.
Brent is survived by his wife, Penelope Miller; his sons: Tyler and Connor Miller, of Denver, CO; his sister, Phyllis Pierce, of Boise; and his canine buddies, Brutus and Julie, who offered him companionship and laughs on a daily basis.
His parents preceded him in death.
Memorial services are planned for Brent in Denver, July 20, 2012 at 2:00 pm under the auspices of Horan & McConaty, Centennial, Colorado. Memorial services are planned for Boise, Wednesday, July 25 at 11: 00 am at Morris Hill Cemetery.
